Riding hats to current British Safety Standards must be fastened and worn at all times when riding or handling horses
Back protectors to current British Safety Standards must be worn for jumping and are highly recommended for hacking
Dogs are NOT permitted
Umbrellas do frighten many horses and for this reason we do NOT allow them past our main gates (sorry if you get a little wet but safety of our riders is a priority)
Do NOT feed any of our horses – some are on specific diets and have allergies, if you wish to bring a treat for the horse you have ridden please ensure you hand it to a member of staff and they will put it in that horse’s feed bowl.
Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere
Children must NOT be left unsupervised. If your child has a lesson you must come to reception to let us know your child is here
NO shouting or running
You are welcome to stay and watch a lesson but please refrain from distracting the riders. Anyone making too much noise or disturbing a lesson will be asked to leave.
Flip flops and open toed sandals are NOT permitted anywhere near the horses or on the yard
Shoulders must be covered for riding (no vest tops)
Hat Hire – you may hire one of our hats whilst you are deciding if you enjoy riding for £2 but you must purchase your own as soon as possible.
Riders are NOT allowed to ride in skirts or shorts
Riding boots MUST be worn
Pushchairs are seen as scary objects to some horses please check with staff before moving by our arenas – pushchairs are NOT permitted in the stable blocks
